WHO WE ARE
We are a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships and service to people in need. In Henderson, KY our service to those in need is largely funded by donors and proceeds generated by the thrift store and furniture store warehouse.
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of our founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul harnesses the power of community and partnerships to feed, clothe, house and heal individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. Our volunteer members – known as Vincentians – are women and men who are compelled by our Catholic Christian faith to serve those who are needy and suffering.
From rental assistance and homelessness prevention, to thrift stores and food pantries, and disaster recovery, we share our time and treasure with those who need help and hope. We believe EVERYONE deserves a fair chance at a bright future, regardless of income or life circumstances.
Vincentians share their blessings of time, talent and treasure with those who need help and hope. We understand that service to a neighbor in need is an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ, and are aware that poverty, suffering, and loneliness are present for millions in our communities.
Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – known as Vincentians – are women and men who faithfully serve those in need through their local St. Vincent de Paul Conference. Vincentians serve more than 5 million people annually in rural, suburban, and urban communities across the United States.
